  A great place to come with family and friends to vacation! Cottages are very cozy and comfortable, the restaurants food is always amazing! You can do so many things here! You can rent a boat and go fishing, or enjoy the view on the lake, you can head to the beach OR pool to go swimming, ice fishing and sledding in the winter! You can head to the restaurant to grab a cold drink and relax. Very welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, accommodating owners who will always say "Hello!". Nice family atmosphere, children activities in summer, and clean facilities. You can't go wrong choosing to vacation here!

  Mixed experience during 4-day stay. YMMV. Registration experience was sub-optimal. Not bad, but definitely not streamlined for first-time visitors. As for amenities, the main building is new, with store for the essentials and ice cream etc. The "Lakeside Bar & Grill" within serves decent food, but took 1/2 hour for two burger platters and chicken fingers (over $40) - at lunch time, with no other customers! The beach is nice and clean though it is pure pebbles once at the waterline, and located far from short-term stay location (can't help that one). They have a beautiful pool, beach volleyball court and numerous other spaces set aside for activities. They have numerous daily activities for the kids, with enthusiastic staff running them. The attached marina (Adam's Outfitters) is nice as well, with modern craft to rent. As someone else mentioned, it would be nice if the transient docks had hardware that accommodated chaining/locking up a boat! The short-term RV sites are aesthetically nice, but have numerous issues... The access/road does not really accommodate trailers larger than about 19 feet, unless you get one of the edge sites nearest the admin building, namely because the access road's turn radius and trees lining it. Larger trailers have trouble with aligning the trailer on the pad and piping uphill to the sewer connection. They clean out the fire pits at the end of someone's visit by sending out a staff member to shovel out the old ashes... Problem is they are too aggressive with the shovel! The fire pits are now 4-feet wide, and SERIOUSLY 2 feet deep!!! Talk about dangerous for the kids to roast marshmallows with anything less than a 5-foot lance! And if you wanted to have a nice quiet fire, forget it... You need to build it larger because you are farther from it. Oh, and firewood is $10 per standard bundle. A bit pricier than most. Almost no garbage cans throughout the common areas... Left me scratching my head. Only true garbage facilities are a 5-min walk from the transient sites. You pass through most of the seasonal sites to get to it, as it seems designed only for the seasonal visitors. Overall, enjoyed the stay, but a few avoidable blemishes that left me neutral.
